The smartphones are an integral part of our everyday lives that have a lot of benefits but also disadvantages.

Phones bring one of the greatest pleasures of being a cell phone owner: calling family and friends who are miles away. Furthermore, as they are portable, you can use it anywhere you can get cellular connection.

Communication

Mobile communication is any type of wireless communication that employs portable devices – mobile phones and other smart devices – to communicate with an information infrastructure. Examples include mobile phones, digital assistants and tablet PCs.

Mobile messaging enables workers to perform better by sharing data outside the office and working remotely. Similarly, phones let workers communicate with customers and co-workers, but in excess, they are bad for other things – sleeplessness and eye strain, social time lost in the flesh and risk for psychological disorders.

Mobile phones can help you secure a part-time job and earn extra income via freelance and gig economy apps. Also, it facilitates the accessibility of education materials in rural regions; provides another method of communication with relatives far away; and is used to monitor the health of children and older adults.

Entertainment

Mobile phones enable many types of entertainment, accessible from anywhere and anytime, like movie and TV show streaming, games, and social interactions. Furthermore, such devices can also display news, weather updates, and other relevant information in real-time directly to your door!

Its subscription service for entertainment apps are a cheaper alternative to more classical channels of content delivery. Many also offer free versions with ads which make it affordable for users with smaller budgets to enjoy an ample selection of entertainment.

Those devices, however, lead users to become addicted and take care of other activities instead. Such an addiction takes a heavy toll on work, family and health – let alone socialising; as when friends at a restaurant overlook each other in favour of video games. Therefore, people should be very careful with their smartphones: do not spend hours playing video games and viewing videos.

Access to Information

Mobil phones allow for quick and easy access to information. It can instantaneously open email messages, search the web for answers and access educational tools; and instantly engage with friends, colleagues and relatives. Mobile phones are for the students, professionals, householders to contact work or studies when they are not in their office.

When users use too many phones, this can lead to negative health effects. It makes eyes dry, itchy and red; interferes with sleeping patterns and elevates stress; enact basic eye exercises while washing your eyes constantly, and limit use of cellphone to time-bound intervals. And they can be an distracting activity that interferes with student learning, including social media sites, games, and apps – all of which will distract the students and send them down pathways to cyberbullying and a compromised privacy situation.

Security

Mobile device is any piece of computer or communications hardware, which can be easily moved between different locations like cell phone, tablets, and laptop. A mobile device typically has a smaller screen than the desktop/laptop, and works with different operating systems such as Android and iOS.

Having mobile devices around the office may be convenient, but they’re also potentially unsafe. Adversaries could espionage company networks and information via Wi-Fi connections or other ways, and end up losing money or harming reputation.

The cost can be reduced with the introduction of BYOD (bring your own device), or the use of personal devices by employees for work purposes, which comes at the cost of security. Personal computers will eventually be open to jailbreaking and vulnerable networks without comprehensive cybersecurity policies that will entail data thefts or breaches and lost revenues.
